Priorities

I love this community. It is where we are raising our children, building relationships, and putting down roots for the long haul. Prairie Village is full of people who care deeply about their neighbors and their city, even if they do not always have the time to be in the room where decisions are made. That is where I come in. I am running to help protect what makes Prairie Village so special while also bringing more voices to the table, especially the ones who are living busy, beautiful, messy lives and still want to be heard. These are the priorities I will carry with me every day.

Strong Neighborhoods for Every Stage of Life

I want to ensure Prairie Village remains a place where residents can put down roots and stay rooted. Whether you are buying your first home, raising kids, or retiring in the same neighborhood you have loved for decades, your needs matter. I believe in supporting thoughtful zoning and planning, investing in infrastructure, and preserving the sense of place that makes this city feel like home.

A Voice for Families Who Are All In but All Over the Place

Too often, the voices of young families are missing from local government. It is not because they do not care, but because they are busy building a life. I want to help bridge that gap. I am raising three young children here and I see how local decisions shape our parks, our streets, and our quality of life. I will work to make sure that families feel represented even when they cannot be in the room.

Thoughtful Stewardship of City Resources

As costs rise and needs evolve, it is more important than ever to be thoughtful about how we manage city funds. I support investments that reflect our values: safe streets, reliable infrastructure, and public spaces that bring people together, while being mindful of the pressures on families, seniors, and residents on fixed incomes. We must balance planning for the future with caring for people in the present.

Preserving Green Spaces and a Sense of Place

Prairie Village is largely built out, which makes it even more important to protect what we have and invest wisely in what we pass on. Our tree canopy, parks, and walkable neighborhoods are central to our identity, and I support preserving them while incorporating sustainability into future projects. Whether it is maintaining public spaces, modernizing city buildings, or enhancing long-term livability, I believe in thoughtful stewardship that keeps Prairie Village vibrant for the next generation.

Transparent, Steady Leadership

In a time when misinformation spreads quickly and a few loud voices dominate the conversation, I believe residents deserve leadership that brings clarity, not conflict. Prairie Village is made stronger when we listen to each other, stay grounded in facts, and focus on what actually improves people’s lives. I am committed to showing up with transparency, asking thoughtful questions, and leading with the kind of steady presence that builds trust and keeps our community moving forward together.

I would love to hear from you.
